This Privacy Policy explains how PFine Real Estate Cloud collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data across the marketplace, workspace, listing workflows, enquiries, and payment-supported services.

1. Data We Collect

We may collect account details such as name, username, email address, phone number, account role, login activity, submitted listing content, property media, payment-related metadata, enquiry details, and operational records needed to run the platform. We may also collect technical information such as IP-related logs, browser information, and activity records for security, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.

2. Why We Use Personal Data

We use personal data to create and manage accounts, process listings and campaigns, support payments, route enquiries, moderate content, prevent fraud, maintain audit trails, improve the service, comply with law, enforce platform terms, and communicate important service or transaction notices.

3. Legal and Fair Processing

PFine Real Estate Cloud aims to process personal data lawfully, fairly, transparently, and only for legitimate platform purposes. Data handling is intended to align with applicable Kenyan data protection standards, including the principles reflected in the Data Protection Act, 2019.

Payment initiation and settlement may involve third-party gateways such as M-Pesa or PayPal. Those providers may collect and process their own transaction data under their own policies and compliance obligations. PFine Real Estate Cloud stores only the payment data reasonably required for records, reconciliation, support, and compliance.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, record-keeping, dispute handling, moderation, analytics, legal compliance, or legitimate business operations. Some records may be retained longer where required to preserve evidence of transactions, payments, consent, fraud review, or legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures to protect platform data against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss, or disclosure. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and users should also protect their credentials and devices.

Some requests may be limited where retention remains necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, contractual, or operational reasons.

The platform is intended for lawful adult marketplace use. Users should not submit sensitive or excessive third-party personal data unless they are authorized to do so and it is reasonably necessary for the relevant transaction or service purpose.

11. Cross-Border Processing

Where data is processed through service providers or infrastructure located outside Kenya, PFine Real Estate Cloud intends to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the processing and the applicable legal framework.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or product changes. Continued use of the platform after updated terms take effect indicates acknowledgment of the revised policy.
